offers free and confidential testing, diagnosis and treatment of
sexually transmitted infections (including HIV/AIDS). A health
advisory service is available for more detailed information and/or
counselling related to STD issues.

SHine SA works in partnership with government,
health, education and community agencies and communities to improve
the sexual health and wellbeing of South Australians.
SHine SA receives funding from the South Australian Government
through the Department of Health and from the Commonwealth Government
through the Public Health Outcomes Funding Agreement. |

The Australian Government recently launched the National
Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Prevention Program: Sexual
Health Campaign.
This campaign aims to raise young people’s awareness about the
risks of infection and to generate a sense of personal
responsibility to help prevent the spread of STIs.
