Latest News:  Since the Issues Paper was released in April 2007, the Review Committee has consulted widely.  The Review Committee is finalising its recommendations.  They will make recommendations to the Attorney General in 2 stages.  The first Report will recommend changes to law and policy and has been finalised.  The second Report will recommend changes for implementation and practice to support changes recommended in the first Report.  The second Report is currently being finalised.  

The release of these Reports will be at the discretion of the Attorney General.
