Funding for the Primarycare Sidebar™ Project ceased on 30 June 2010
The PrimaryCare Sidebar™ sits on a health professional desktop and delivers decision support; Diabetes, Mental Health and Podiatry assessments; access to the Health Provider Registry; practice data integrity/management; and collaboration tools that draw data directly from the GP clinical system (Medical Director and Best Practice).
The PrimaryCare Sidebar™ can also be used as a stand alone platform i.e. Allied Health Providers who traditionally do not use Medical Director or Best Practice use the PrimaryCare Sidebar™ for access to decision support, assessments, and the Health Provider Registry.

The PrimaryCare Sidebar office closed on 30 June 2010 because ongoing funding in 2010/11 was not possible. However, the deployment of the PrimaryCare Sidebar™ is continuing across Australia thanks to support from the Royal Australian College of General Practice and Pen Computer Systems Pty Ltd.
