  Clinicians Supporting the Consumer Journey 

A forum was held at the Stamford Grand Glenelg on the 7th and 8th of April 2008.
Some of the information presented on these days has been made available by following the links below.

Clinicians Supporting the Consumer Journey
 
Since the inception of the National Mental Health Strategy, Australia has shown its commitment to quality improvement through the implementation of routine outcome measurement in all specialised public mental health services.

This forum looks at the data reporting requirements that apply to the Mental Health National Outcomes and Casemix Collection as follows:

  • Use of outcome measures to inform clinical practice and service improvement
  • Use of mental health information for benchmarking
  • Consumer/Carer involvement and the consumer self assessment tool
