Food Safety Surveys |
|
|
The Department’s Food Policy & Programs Branch undertakes surveys to monitor the safety and suitability of food and to assess compliance with the Australian New Zealand Food Standards Code. Surveys are initiated where local, interstate or overseas information indicates a potential matter for investigation or to fill a gap in knowledge on a food safety issue. The Department also works with other States and Territories on national surveys coordinated through Food Standards Australia New Zealand and with Primary Industries and Resources SA on issues related to primary production.
