Immunisation for Aboriginal People |
|
|
Posters In recent decades Immunisation has made a significant contribution to the reduction in infant mortality among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people however the coverage for these targeted immunisation programs is substantially lower than for those programs aimed at the wider community. In collaboration with the Aboriginal Health Division of SA Health, resources have been developed for Health Services which include fact sheets and posters to promote immunisation to Aboriginal people. The resources are primarily aimed at promoting Influenza and Pneumococcal Vaccination; however the posters are applicable to a range of vaccines on the National Immunisation Program. More copies of the posters, fact sheets and stickers can be ordered by contacting the Immunisation Section on 1300 232 272.
